This table top was scratched and beat after many good years of use. I created this pattern that repeats when 1 or 2 leafs are added. Now I hate to use tablecloths.

and a muted checkerboard background for a nod to the history of this 1950s estate.

relates perfectly with the natural wood elements and the Post & Beam construction of this home.
